Here's What It Takes: Full-Stack Engineer
Full-Stack Engineer (Remote - Boston preferred)
Who we are:
Vincere Health is one of the fastest growing HealthTech companies in the New England startup ecosystem. We are a behavioral health platform that pays smokers to quit and will support a variety of other chronic care issues in the next 18-24 months. We were the winners of the 2020 Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge, a long-time fixture of the Harvard Innovation Lab community, and recently a Techstars portfolio company who participated in their United Healthcare Accelerator.
We need help with:
We are looking for a full-stack engineer willing to roll-up their sleeves, roll with the punches, be ok with a dynamic (and sometimes unpredictable) startup environment where you will have a direct and immediate impact on the direction of the company, the product, and actually improving the lives of populations who need it the most.
This position is predominantly front-end with the option to be full-stack. We use NodeJS(Typescript), Python, Javascript/React, MaterialUI, Postgres, Redis, SQS/SNS/S3, AWS ECS, Kubernetes, Serverless functions, AWS Cloud Platform.
We are looking for someone with:

Knowledge of algorithms and scalable architecture design patterns

Experience maintaining a living and complex codebase with a modern stack

Strong knowledge of Javascript, HTML, DOM, and CSS and at least one UI library/framework (e.g. React, Vue, Angular
-
Experience working with mid-tier NodeJS/Express, Python/Django applications.

Experience working with design systems e.g, Bootstrap, SemanticUI, CustomBuild
-
Expertise with cloud services, such as AWS
-
Good understanding of containers, build systems, and infrastructure automation

Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs

Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Bonus points for:

Knowledge of React Native and Hybrid Mobile Development

Knowledge of native mobile development with JAVA and SWIFT

You've shipped complex projects with teams of engineers

You've mentored junior developers and interns
