Here's What It Takes: Operations & Account Management Lead

Who we are:

Vincere Health is one of the fastest growing HealthTech companies in the New England startup eco-system. We are a behavioral health platform that pays smokers to quit and will support a variety of other chronic care issues in the next 18-24 months. We were the winners of the 2020 Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge, a long-time fixture of the Harvard Innovation Lab community, and recently a Techstars portfolio company who participated in their United Healthcare Accelerator.​

What we need help with:

We need help scaling our virtual care delivery program offering. This means being able to work on a wide area of problems from operations, managing on-going pilots, managing clinical providers, exploring new partnerships, strategy, business development efforts, and customer success efforts.

Who we are looking for:

We want a dynamic generalist who can take the reins and run in a rapidly growing startup environment. The right candidate will be able to adapt to changing needs, be proactive, thoughtful, offer strategic research and contribute towards the company’s directional decisions and be able to hire and groom an operational team to scale. We prioritize individuals with the right collaborative attitude and ability to adapt quickly.

Daily tasks:

  • This individual will be asked to “own” relationships for specific client accounts. This could include tasks in the entire life cycle of working with a client: contracting, developing a scope of work, helping implement
    a solution, managing members of a team to drive success for the client,
    as well as potentially managing data reporting for the client.

     

  • Responding to client needs, requests for data, escalating any issues
    to the Vincere management or technical teams.

     

  • This individual may need to create ad-hoc PowerPoint decks, complete basic data analysis, and conduct weekly or bi-weekly status meetings with the client.
     

  • This individual will likely need to manage or delegate tasks to our customer success team or complete the tasks themselves (we’re a startup, ya know!)

A good candidate will have:

  • Between 3-6 years of experience in management or strategy consulting, in an operational role, in an account management role, or relevant industry experience on the Provider or Payer side
     

  • Interest in working with or experience in working with healthcare systems, hospitals, or health insurance companies
     

  • Experience managing projects and small teams of 2-7 people
     

  • Ability to work in the US (open to remote work with a preference for an individual based in the Boston area)

Salary:

  • Base Salary: Competitive Market Rate

  • Equity: ~.05-.2%
